I'm the older guy who doesn't speak in tongues in a Church full of tongue-talkers who think that I must be either ignorant, back-slid, or unsaved because I don't speak in tongues. In fact, I probably know the Bible better than all of those "spiritual elites" including the pastor. It's like fellowshipping with a whole room full of young, immature Josephs all flaunting their spiritual gift. I'd like to be more involved with this Church, but they don't respect Christians who don't speak in tongues, and I can't take this bunch of people seriuos who think too highly of themselves based on their gift rather than their fruit. Somehow, I think that maybe this pastor is unworthy to see me start speaking in tongues while he lays hands on me, so I would ask you to pray for me that I may be imparted with spiritual gifts and manifestations when I am not at this Church.
